General Manager

Ardcor Roll Forming Mills and Presses have been the standard of excellence and duribility by which all others are judged within the industry.

Production involved the use of CNC Turning and Machining Centers, Steel Fabrication, EDM Machining of Tooling and Dies, Machine Assembly, Painting, Testing and Installation at customer's facility.  Finished machinery consisted of Heavy Welded Steel and Cast Iron fabrications equiped with integrated precision machined assemblies powered by Electrical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems under state-of-the-art controls.  The company employed 55 Salaried and Hourly Employees all of whom reported to the General Manager except the Accounting Department.  The plant operated generally as a single shift operation with overtime as needed in a non-union environment.

As General Manager, areas of responsibility included total P/L responsibility for Sales, Proposal, Estimating, Purchasing, Engineering, Operations, Human Resources and Customer Service for all Equipment and Tooling produced at this facility.  Accomplishments included expansion of Sales to Western Europe; integartion of Computer Network between Engineering and Operations; improvements in Inventory Controls; the introduction of a JIT supplier program; standardization of Shop Work Rules; expansion of the Engineering Department with key Tooling Designers and Systems Engineers; and the issuance of the company's first ever Employee Handbook.
