EPIC Metals manufactures Custom Metal Deck used in high end Architectural Designs for Commercial and Multi-story Residential buildings including Airport Terminals, Schools, Auditoriums, Gymnasiums, Natatoriums, Transit Applications and a host of other interior and exterior floor, ceiling and roof applications.

With three facilities in Western Pennsylvania and another in Florida, EPIC supplies Custom Roll Formed Deck to the entire US Market from Hawaii to Maine, Alaska to Key West and internationally to a world-wide customer base from Dublin to Mumbai.

Responsibilities include total oversight of all Manufacturing and Maintenance for the Corporation in both Union and non-union environments plus the in-house design and manufacture of custom machinery and unique production equipment.  Manufacturing utilizes a variety of Roll Forming Mills, Automated Welding and Fabrication Lines, Coil Processing and Perforating Facilities plus custom Painting to meet the widest possible range of customer specifications for shape, color and finish.

The Manufacturing Segment of the company employs both Salaried and Hourly Employees plus additional temporary general labor as needed to meet seasonal demand.  The plants operate generally as single shift operations with overtime and second shifts utilized as dictated by production and delivery demands.

This position oversees the entire Manufacturing staff including Plant Managers, Superintendants, Foreman and all hourly production employees plus all Shipping, Scheduling and Storeroom personnel.  It requires strong interpersonal and decision making skills on a day-to-day basis with a goal of maximizing quality while meeting the ever changing needs of our customers' delivery schedules.  This position also has responsibility for Union Contract Negotiations and daily administration of company HR Policies, Safety and Hygiene issues, as well as the design and execution of all Employee Training and Certification Programs.
